On March 14, 2018, New Bright Elementary School held a STEM Day event with multiple activities spanning all grade levels. Three dozen 4th and 5th graders had a chance to experiment with Calypso and the Cozmo robot.

The students learned to program Cozmo to chase a cube, pick it up, and play a sound on command. They also saw how Calypso's speech recognition feature could be used to program Cozmo to respond to a voice command.
